Three landmark flyovers underway: Oke Fia (99% complete), Lameco (80%), and Lagere/Ile-Ife (78%) — plus the N16.5bn Ilesa Ereja-to-Brewery dualization at 99%.
Operation Light Up Osun: every completed road fitted with solar street lights. Local artisans, engineers, and materials sourced within Osun — development for the people.
Healthcare
Healthcare Projects
Free healthcare for 23,000+ retirees (first in Nigeria), 50,000+ beneficiaries of the Imole Outreach, 346 PHCs under rehabilitation, and 3.5 million LLITN nets distributed.
23,000+ Osun retirees enrolled on free comprehensive healthcare — the first state-funded retiree health scheme in Nigeria. 100% hazard allowance paid to all health workers, making Osun the only state whose workers did not join the nationwide strike.
50,000+ residents benefited from the Imole Surgical & Medical Outreach — free cataract, hernia, and pterygium surgeries, eye glasses, and treatment across all 9 federal constituencies.
346 primary healthcare centres being rehabilitated statewide — each powered by solar for 24-hour service, stocked with essential drugs, and monitored by community representatives. 3.5 million LLITN nets distributed free to households.
Education
Education Projects
Osun jumped from 33rd to 7th nationally in WAEC/NECO rankings in three years — with 120 schools rehabilitated, 5,250 new teachers, and a new university delivered.
National WAEC & NECO ranking: Osun surged from 33rd to 7th — the fastest rise in Southwest Nigeria. 5,250 teachers and 250 education officers recruited in 2024.
120 schools rehabilitated statewide. At Osun State University, a 52-unit staff complex was completed — the first capital project there since 2010.
University of Ilesa created from scratch: take-off grant released, 100+ courses accredited, and the first-ever student hostel now under construction.
Agriculture
Agriculture Projects
31 new tractors deployed, 200,000+ seedlings distributed, and poultry farmers empowered — ending 12 years of agricultural neglect in Osun State.
31 brand-new tractors acquired after 12 years — deployed across Osun at a subsidised rate of ₦20,000/acre vs ₦35,000–₦40,000 in the private sector.
Over 200,000 hybrid cashew and cocoa seedlings distributed statewide. Cocoa pods sold at ₦300 (vs ₦1,100 market rate) to support local farmers directly.
Osun Broiler Out-growers Production Scheme (OBOPS): hundreds of poultry farmers empowered with chicks, feed, and technical support across all LGAs.
